Liquid Robotics Adds New Executive Talent

Dr. David McLaren has joined Liquid Robotics as the company’s new Senior Vice President of Engineering. A consumer imaging and technology veteran, McLaren brings over 20 years of experience building and leading engineering organizations for innovative companies such as GoPro and Cisco Systems. McLaren will be responsible for managing all aspects of Liquid Robotics’ engineering organization and will play a major role in directing the company’s technology and product development. He will report directly to Roger Hine, the company’s Co-Founder, Chief Technology Officer and inventor of the Wave Glider wave and solar powered ocean robot.

In addition, Liquid Robotics has attracted other industry experts for strategic growth positions. These positions report to Gary Gysin, President and CEO of Liquid Robotics. The new executive members are Mark Bindon, Vice President of Mission Services; Jerome Pereira, Vice President of Manufacturing; and Becky Tanner, Vice President of Marketing.

Mark Bindon, Vice President of Mission Services, is former Vice President and Client Delivery Executive for Silver Spring Networks. He brings expertise in developing and scaling professional services teams and the support infrastructure necessary to meet the needs of an expanding customer base. 

New Vice President of Manufacturing Jerome Pereira was formerly Vice President of Operations at Vidcie Inc. and is experienced in all aspects of manufacturing execution, supply chain management and quality.

Becky Tanner, named Vice President of Marketing, has worked as Executive Director of Corporate Marketing and Operations for Maxim Integrated, bringing to the company experience in branding, global programs, web marketing and operations
