Forum Sells Its Stake in Ashtead Technology

Oilfield products company Forum Energy Technologies said it has reached a deal to sell its aggregate 40% interest in subsea rentals company Ashtead Technology to Buckthorn Partners and other investors that currently own the majority of the equity interests in Ashtead.Forum acquired its stake in Ashtead Technology in January 2018 as part of the transaction which resulted in a merger between Forum’s subsea rentals business and Ashtead. The merger created the industry’s largest independent provider of subsea survey and remotely operated underwater vehicle (ROV) equipment rental services.

Forum Bags Mojave ROV Deal

Oilfield products company Forum Energy Technologies said it has sealed a contract to supply a Mojave remotely operated vehicle (ROV) for the Norwegian firm ESEA Marine.Sub-Atlantic Mojave will also be used by ESEA Submarine’s sister company, ESEA Marine AS, which has customers that include fish farms, port authorities and insurance companies, said the international oilfield products company, serving the subsea, drilling, completion and  production sectors of the oil and natural gas industry.In addition, the Mojave will play a training role in helping ROV pilots to develop their skills.

Forum Receives Order for Three ROVs

Houston-based oilfield products company Forum Energy Technologies, Inc. has received an order from New Orient Marine Pte. Ltd. to supply three remotely operated vehicles (ROVs) for its multipurpose ice-class vessel currently under construction in Singapore.   The order includes two Perry XLX 200 horsepower, 4,000 meter Work Class ROV systems and one Sub-Atlantic Comanche 3,000 meter Observation Class ROV.
